Double-Couched Pulp Paintings

"Lilies of the Valley of the Shadow 3" is the third in a series of double-couched pulp paintings with dried pressed flowers from the garden and pigment. Life has a way of making sure we all go through difficult times of anxiety and loss, but as a person of faith, I believe we don't have to go through it alone. I based this series on two verses from the Bible:
"Consider how the lilies grow.... Yet I tell you not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Luke 12:27
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me." Psalm 23:4
